Background

Design’s superpowers can bring clarity to complexity and in this case a narrative to a plan that gained buy-in and built confidence.

After more than 2 years of getting the Lighting Design platform out in the wild, there was still more work to do to fill gaps in the development of UI components.

My team created this visualization of the front-end stack and told the story of the plan to meet the needs of our users, developers, and the business to execute.

Outcome

Very simply put this work instilled confidence in the Platform team to deliver critical UI layer components and secured the funding to make it a reality for only 2 releases.
